CRYPTO ROYAL is an homage to the gaming phenomena that was skin betting where players of the critcally acclaimed esport title Counter-Strike: Global Offensive were able to participate and bet on variety of games with their in-game items called (weapon) skins. CRYPTO ROYAL is aiming to recreate that nostalgic feeling of winning skins on jackpot and other games, but using bitcoin instead of skins.
Why bitcoin and not skins ?
Using skins for participating in jackpot-style games is frowned upon and outright deemed illegal according to the game developer Valve, who in the summer and fall of 2016 issued cease and desist letters to most of the biggest sites that were offering it. While still maintaining the CSGO skin and trading APIs, Valve is in a position to take all of your skins at any time, from any site, with no warning whatsoever. Bitcoin on the other hand is cryptographically secure and decentralized - noone can take away your bitcoin ever, for any reason.
I still don't get what this bitcoin is all about ?
We are professionals in IT with more than 17 years of experience in the CS scene (yes, that is going back to the first beta). We hold ourselves to the highest standards of the industry and protection of customers rights. Hi Richard!
Okay, so how do I play ?
You deposit bitcoin in the site, we give you tokens that look like CSGO skins to play with in the games. Use the big green button in the middle of the site called DEPOSIT / ENTER POT. Generally in a Jackpot game the players deposit their tokens/skins in a common pot and after the time or skin limit of the round is reached, a winner is drawn that takes the whole pot minus the site commission.
What currencies do you accept ?
Currently we only accept bitcoin with plans of supporting ethereum and the other big cryptocurrencies when they mature. For your convenience we have added currency switcher on the top right corner, which converts the default mBTC values to their EUR or USD equivalents for display purposes only. 1 mBTC = 0.001 bitcoin.
How can I be sure you are not cheating me out of my wins?
We have the most transparent and verifiable provably fair system you have seen - check out our Provably Fair section.
Are there any limits?
The minimum you can deposit in a round or the site is currently is 0.1 mBTC. You can enter the pot with no more than 6 tokens/skins which makes the maximum amount you can enter with 6 BTC. The rounds currently last 60 seconds or until 42 items are deposited. You can withdraw minmum of 0.1 mBTC. These are, of course, subect to change as the site grows.
Do you take any commission ?
Yes. We take fixed 5% of the total value in the pot to maintain the site's operation. In case the commission cannot be taken as a whole token/skin the winnings of the losing players in a round are broken down to lower token/skin denominations. If the comission is < 0.1 mBTC the remainder is returned to the player's purse (the green icon on the bottom of your Current Inventory). We do not take commission if only two players are participating in a round.
What are denominations?
In order to maintain the point skin and click interface of the old csgo jackpots, CRYPTO ROYAL uses the following denominations of skins/tokens - 1000, 500, 250, 100, 50, 25, 10, 5, 1, 0.5, 0.25 and 0.1 mBTC tokens. You can change how you deposit/current balance is denominated at any time by using the REDISTRIBUTE button in "Current Inventory" menu in the top right corner.
How can I withdraw my bitcoin?
You can go to your "Current Inventory" menu, click Withdraw Amount then enter the amount you wish to withdraw or you can select skins and withdraw the sum of all selected when you click the Withdraw Selected button. You can also withdraw an exact amount from the menu in top right corner. Please note that the withdraw action is final and if you mistakenly input an invalid bitcoin address or an address you dont control, we cannot do nothing once you initiate the transaction.
I deposited bitcoin but my inventory shows nothing but red items?
The items will be available when we recieve the required number of confirmations from the bitcoin network - one confirmation for deposits up to 1 BTC, two confirmations for deposits up to 10 BTC, four confirmations for deposits up to 50 BTC and six confirmations for deposits over that amount. Generally a confirmation is obtained after 10 minutes, you can also see the number of confirmations you recieve when you click the Blocktrail button in the "Transaction History" menu.
What is a "User Secret" and where do i change it?
The user secret is your contribution to the randomness and fairness of the draw - in the beginning of every round we take your User Secret along with the user secrets of all other people logged in the site, hash it and use it for the random drawing of the winner in the end of the round. A User Secret is an integer between 1 and 99999 and can be changed at any time from the "User Secret" tab in the "Profile" menu in the top right corner of the site. If you don't change your user secret, we autogenerate a new one for every new round.
What is "Different Skin View"?
By default each token/skin uses a different picture from the CS:GO skins market, if you go to the "Profile" menu you can change this so that each token uses the same picture, every time. You can also change the default pictures from the RESKIN button in "Current Inventory".
Bitcoin is the biggest and most well known cryptocurrency and cryptocurrencies are the future of money. This video explains it better.
Why do we need bitcoin?
Bitcoin is money, that noone can force you to transfer, take away or hack from you. It is the most secure way of storing value as no government, company or agency in the world can tell you what to do with your bitcoin, ban it or shut down its servers. Bitcoin is safe, borderless, international and open source.
How does it work and I can get started ?
Bitcoin is stored in special software called Wallets, and for beginners it is often advised to use a mobile phone one as they provide the easiest usage and interface. CRYPTO-ROYAL recommends breadwallet, Jaxx and copay on both iOS and Android devices with the latter two also having desktop versions. Once you download a mobile Wallet, using the device's camera that scans QR codes you can quickly send and recieve bitcoins from anywhere around the world. Think of your bitcoin wallet as your unique bank/checking account.
After you have a wallet the second step is to get some bitcoin and just like in the real world you need to find an exchange desk to convert your country's money to bitcoin. Here are some trusted options and recommendations:

CRYPTO ROYAL may monitor site activity and individual rounds to deter fraudulent activity.
Commission fee will be selected from all items within the pot from each round regardless of who deposited it. All selected items as commission fee are final and not available for trade.

Although bitcoin is a digital value preservation asset we at CRYPTO ROYAL recognize that people can develop attachment to one's digital holdings. All the games at CRYPTO ROYAL are not to be compared to real money games of chance, but the same principles apply and individuals can exhibit addiction-like behaviour. Should this happen and you feel losing bitcoin affects your daily life, please consult any of the sites below :
CRYPTO ROYAL allows you to verify and prove every round and every draw is as honest and correct as it can be. Unlike other sites we cannot know the winning ticket/number/percentage in advance and cannot change or fix any of the outcomes in our games. We achive this by the following :
Our Server Secret is provided by RANDOM.ORG website which in turn uses radio receivers to pick up atmospheric noise, which is then used to generate TRUE random numbers and is considered the most reputable random number source on the Internet. Additionally our servers have the HArdware Volatile Entropy Gathering and Expansion (HAVEGE) software installed that uses modifications of the internal volatile hardware states (the clock cycle counter of the CPU) as a source of further entropy for generation of the User Secrets of users that do not manually want to change it every round.
We provide you our Server Secret in the beginning of each round and display its SHA256 hash so you can verify it was unchanged. We disclose the value of the Server Secret once a round is ended and allow you to hash it yourself (or use and online tool like http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator) and see that we didn't change it secretly during the process.
We also take into account the User Secret of each logged user in the site in the beginning of every round. The User Secret is a number that each individual user can input in the Profile/Settings page and before every round and directly affect the outcome of a winner draw. Again, we display a SHA256 hash in the beginning of the round so you can verify the correct value was used for the draw.
Once a round is over, we construct an array of tickets, one of which will be randomly drawn to be the winner of the current round. For every 1 mBTC deposited in a round the player recieves 100 tickets. Since tickets are given in the order of depositing the items in the round i.e the first user gets the first 100 tickets, the second user gets the next 100 tickets and so on until the round is finalized, we shuffle the ticket using PHP implementation of the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm :
The seed with which we seed the PHP random generator to shuffle the values of the ticket array is the Server Secret for the given round. The shuffling is reproducible (meaning that if you have programming skills you can feed it the unshuflled array using the server secret as a seed you will always recieve the same shuffled array of values using your own PHP environment or online sandboxes such as http://sandbox.onlinephpfunctions.com/) and insures that the order/timing of you entering the pot doesn't matter as the array will be randomly shuffled after the closing of the round.
The winning ticked id is calculated as being the remainder of the integer division of the sum of the Server Secret, the sum of all User Secrets of the users logged in at the start of the round and half the number of tickets in the round divided by the size of the ticket array. Or in mathematical terms:
(ServerSecret + UserSecret + SumofAllOtherUserSecrets + TicketArrayLength/2) % TicketArrayLength
So to conclude - we show you two of the values used for drawing a winner in the beginning of the round, one of which you can have a direct effect on (your individual User Secret) , you are able to monitor in the Round Log to the left the order and size of sums entered in the pot and by using the third component in our draw function (the size of the ticket array) which is dynamic and cannot be known in advance you can derive both the winning ticket and the shuffled and unshuffled arrays of tickets so you can verify and know the that draw 100% fair and reproducable.
